Miles Davis, MDC's principal, has over 38 years experience working in the International Trade & Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) industries:

recruited by the Dept of Trade (Austrade) under its Graduate Intake Program. Five year's experience in the Melbourne office's Marketing division, including responsibility for the preparation of the Victorian Monthly Economic Report, a monthly digest of economic indicators distributed to the Federal Treasury & Finance Departments, State Governments & Industry Groups

28 years employment with Austrade's Vic/Tas EMDG division. Principal responsibilities included conducting claim audits (in excess of 3,000 with a total payout of over $120m), running marketing workshops & seminars, providing written & verbal in-principle policy advice, engagement in Policy Review Committees, processing complex appeals, briefing legal representatives for AAT Hearings, staff training, screening & approving claim assessments, & a short-term assignment as Vic/Tas State Manager
